Mission Statement

 
A church isn’t a building, it is people.  We believe that we gather together for a purpose.  This is expressed by our defining statement:

 

 

ENCOUNTER…

Encountering God – Our first priority is to encounter God through worship and the Word.

Encountering His people – We are meant to live in relationship with one another. The Christian life is meant to be experienced together.

 

EQUIP…

Equipped to serve God and other – At church we are trained to serve.

Equipped to live a biblical life style – We also need to to trained to live according to the Word of God, which is a counter-culture lifestyle.

 

EXTEND…

Extending our lives into our community – We are to be a blessing to those around us by sharing His love and His message.

Extending our lives into the world – We can impact the world through involvement in  missions: giving and going.
