Operation Christmas Child – Nov. 12

Church of the Cross is participating in Operation Christmas Child this year, and now is the time to pack your boxes!
Operation Christmas Child is an annual project ran by international relief charity Samaritan’s Purse. Partnering with ordinary people everywhere, Operation Christmas Child sends shoe boxes filled with gifts to disadvantaged boys and girls around the world who would otherwise not get to experience the joy of Christmas.
If you’re interested in packing a box for a child this Christmas, please stop by the church information booth for a box and instructions on how and what to fill it with. All boxes must be returned to the church by November 12th along with $9 for shipping. If you have any questions about Church of the Cross’ participation in Operation Christmas Child, please talk to Merrié Scriber for more information.
